1. due to the particularity of cashmere fiber, the reasons for the pilling of cashmere products are as follows:

(1) Fiber length: the pilling degree of the fabric made of longer fiber is lighter than that of shorter fiber; because of the small number of fiber head segments in unit length, the fiber ends exposed on the yarn and fabric surface are also less. The length of cashmere fiber is 35-45 mm, while that of wool is 70-140 mm.

(2) Fineness of fibers: coarse fibers are less likely to ball than fine fibers. The yarn made of coarse fiber has less fiber roots per unit area, and less fiber ends exposed to the surface of yarn and fabric; in addition, the coarser the fiber, the harder it is, the fiber erected on the surface of the fabric is not easy to tangle into balls. The fineness of cashmere is obviously smaller than that of wool.

(3) Crimp degree of fiber: the fiber has many curls, the holding force between fibers is large, the friction increases, the fiber is not easy to free to the surface of the fabric, and it is not easy to take off the ball. Cashmere curls less than wool.

(4) The cross section shape of fiber: the section shape of the fiber is close to circular, the holding force between fibers is small, and it is easier to ball than the special-shaped fibers such as triangle and polygon. The cross section of cashmere fiber is round.

(5) Fiber strength, elongation and elasticity: high fiber strength and elongation, and it is not easy to wear and break off when the elastic friction is good. Once the hair is started, it is easy to tangle into a ball. Cashmere has a strong single fiber, and it has better elongation and elasticity than wool.

(6) Twist of yarn: yarn twist is large, fiber binding is tight, and the pilling degree of fabric is reduced. In order to ensure the hand feel and style of cashmere products, the twist of cashmere yarn is relatively low.

(7) Fabric structure: knitwear is easier to kick than woven fabric.

(8) The finishing and washing of the fabric also affect the pilling degree of the fabric.

2. handling method of kick off

After the pilling phenomenon of clothes, do not pull hard with hand. The correct method is to cut down the pile ball with scissors after washing. After several washing, with some loose fibers falling off, the pilling phenomenon of clothes will gradually disappear.
